About Me

WHO AM I? 

My name is Braylon Mitchell. I was born in Lexington, KY and I'm currently based in Nashville, TN. Ever since I was in diapers, I've had an obessive passion for all things film. I've always been and will always be a lifelong cinephile, as well as a fanatic of following the awards season - both past and present. In my free time, I stay up to date on most all new films releasing week by week as well as keeping up with the latest and hottest TV shows. As of 2020, I have run a Letterboxd account in which I've tracked and rated the over 2,000 films that I've seen throughout my lifetime. An important hobby of mine is following along with the yearly film & television awards season, in which I've amassed a reputation as a reliable online predictor and commentator - in January 2026 placing in the worldwide top ten users with the most accurate predictions of the 2026 Oscar Nominations on goldderby.com. Additionally, I regularly write, direct, and produce student short films as well as work on what film projects I can in the local industry. I am currently a student at the Nashville Film Institute.
