REVIEW
Best seen in a dark theater surrounded by elders, I've got to admit this film holds quite a fair share of charm- as well as emitting a certian "attractive to old people" vibe that often find enjoyment in no matter the quality of film. Under Rebecca Zlotowski's direction, this film feels intellectual as a mystery and playful in its comedic elements. This film has a quaint sense of humor that simply works, especially due to Jodie Foster and Daniel Auteuli's performances. It took me a bit to warm up to the inner workings of Foster's character but once I did I appreciated what this film was going for with its themes of privacy and discovery- themes that are told across a convoluted plot, but by the end I nonetheless found effective. An all around well crafted film, that I thought was lacking in parts.
THREE BEST ELEMENTS
Jodie Foster and Daniel Auteuli's performances. They're both individually delightful in these roles, but together have great chemistry.
Rebecca Zlotowski's direction. Sleek, interesting direction from a director I'd like to watch more of.
The cinematography. Visually, this film is a stylistic treat on the eyes. Fantastic work.
WORST ELEMENT
It's a very lightweight film, for better or for worse. I found it to often be too light and soft handed. The film never really hooked me.

It's fine if you don't watch it, buddy!
